| Who We Are: The Explorer Program is a Boy Scout program designated to give young men and women the basic knowledge and preparation for a career in the Fire Service.
What We Do: Explorer Post 2777 offers support to the Senior Personnel of Hamilton Township Fire Rescue. The Explorers are trained in various duties such as stretching hose, raising ladders, flowing water, search and rescue evolutions with air packs, fire extuingisher use, to basic EMS (Emergency Medical Services). While Explorers are not allowed to enter a burning building, explorers are able to retrieve tools and other items from the fire engines that are on a scene, in order to allow the firefighters to work more efficiently. The Explorers also participate in various community activities such as parades, festivals and other projects as assigned by Hamilton Township Fire Rescue. Explorer Post 2777 does it all! When We Meet: Explorer Post 2777 meets every Tuesday from 1800hrs until 2100hrs at Station 76 on Foster Maineville Road in downtown Maineville, Ohio.
Requirements : Explorers need to be between 13 (and in the 8th grade) and 21 years of age, with a Grade Point Average of atleast 2.0, and be ready to learn, work hard, and have fun. Committe & Advisors
