 | On Wednesday, December7th at 0437 Hamilton Township Fire Rescue was alerted to a structure fire in the 10000 block of South State Route 48. Hamilton Township Engine 76, Tanker 76, Engine 77, Chief 76, and Chief 77 responded with Mutual Aid assistance from Loveland-Symmes, Deerfield Township, Harlan Township, Goshen Township and South Lebanon. Arriving units found light smoke in the basement area. Upon further investigation active fire was found in the attic of the home. Crews quickly began pulling the ceiling and quickly knocked the base of the fire down. Crews then removed smoldering insulation and extuingshed the remaining hot spots. The home sustained limited damage thanks to the good stop of the interior and exterior crews. All occupants of the home were safely evacuated. One firefighter sustained minor injuries during overhaul operations. Click below for more photos. |
