Unit 2 responds to Auto Accident with Entrapment

On Sunday, May 25, 2008 Hamilton Township Fire units responded to a reported Auto Accident with entrapment. The trap occured at approximately 03:16PM in the 5300 block of Zoar Rd. Units arriving found a single SUV rollover in a ditch with the SUV coming to rest on it's passenger side. The occupant was pinned in the vehicle by her steering wheel and dashboard. The vehicle had sustained heavy damage, and the occupant sustained serious injuries. MVH CareFlight was called to the scene to fly the patient to thier Trauma Center. Units responding included Engine 76, Engine 77, Medic 76, Medic 77, and Chief 76. Mutual Aid was called from Union Township / South Lebanon Fire Department to land CareFlight.
